RE: Charles Daly
Wal mart carries the Charles Daly line and you can check the prices on line. That seems steep for the Charles Daly line and I'm not sure that the DU model would keep the value of that shotgun that high. You going to use it or keep it for collectors?

There are Chas. Daly's then there are Chas. Daly's! At one time, that name implied a very high quality double or O/U shotgun made in Germany. Thosecost plenty then, and still do. Even the ones made by B.C. Miroku in Japan are excellent guins!
The current ones seem to have lost their quality!

RE: Charles Daly
My CD Field Grade had a problem not wanting to fire Remington ammo, but would fire the cheap Winchester stuff just fine. I called the factory and they sent me a UPS call tag to send it back to them. 3 weeks later, I got it back and it works fine. Didn't cost me a thing!
It's not something that I expect to hand down to my daughter or anything, but for what I paid for it, I couldn't touch an auto by any other manufacturer. $320 out the door for it. The only problem I have with it now is it won't cycle every time if I try to feed it too light of a load. 1 1/8 loads seem to work fine, but anything lighter it may not cycle every time.
All new CD's come with a lifetime repair guarranty, if it breaks, they'll fix it for free!
