Will the W.S.M. survive?
I am just wondering if the calibers will survive since Winchester has ended rifle production. I know other companies chamber for them but just wonder if they will survive.

RE: Will the W.S.M. survive?
I feel the .300 wsm and the .325 wsm are here for good. I have a .300 wsm and I love it. I have heard guys on this forum swear by the .270 wsm also and it is selling well too. I myself would be leary of buying the wssm's...JUST my opinion wssm owners.:D

Goodness, if they can't survive with the sales they have had, something is really wrong with thier business models. Winchester ammo and US repeating arms were two different companies.

Why not! I believe the ammo is made by another company, and other arms makers are tooling up for these caliber in there guns. Rich

Heck even Remington dropped their SA ultra mag line and are now chambering the WSM's.

Anybody's guess I suppose. If I were a betting man I'd say the WSM will survive and the WSSM will wind down.

In my area, the 270 and 300 WSMs are outselling most all other calibers. I don,t think the wssm's can compete with the standard calibers that they are in competition with. JMO.
