Congrats to Hoytgirl!!!. Now you gotta select an appropriate concealable weapon, IWB or OWB holster or some other related "stuff". I'm always glad to see the fine women in our lives take up archery / guns / hunting. Good luck to you both.

God leave it to someone to complain about this post lighten up retrieverman there in enought anti hunters out there without you complaining about this. We as hunters and shooter should build each of us up without this. again congrats hardcore the wife did good.

Thanks guys!! I am proud of her. I have had a permit for over 10 years and being self-employed and on the road like we are I was glad to see her want to get her permit. She brought two guns with her today as she wasn't sure which she wanted to use(women and decisions). She took a Glock mod 21 .45acp with a lasermax laser and a Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm. She shot half of her test with each gun. She said that the guys were really impressed with the glock .45 as some of them had never seen a laser. She let one guys usethe glock as he was wanting to buy one and he had never seen a lasermax. She said he was impressed with the glock and the internal laser that lasermaxoffers. She also has a Ruger GP-100 .357 but it has a scope on it for deer hunting.

My wife has had hers for about 15 years. She carries a Taurus 65 357 mag. I have had mine for 20 years or so. I usually carry the Rurer 45 ACP or the Ultralite 44 Mag with 200 grain 44 Special loads. Hope you never need to use it.
