Where can I find a model 700 receiver

looking to build a rifle in a 25-06 and want to use a model 700 receiver, any ideas on where I can find one without having to buy a whole rifle?

They had them on sale at Brownells. But for 350 dollars. If it was me, I would buy up a beat up donorgun for 250 for the caliber you are looking for or any 06 so you don't have change some of the action parts. Might even have some "real" bottom metal if you get a late 70's or early 80's instead of plastic. Your probably going to put your own trigger on anyway. Just a thought.

Ya get one the same way we all get them....ya searchy the used gun racks and look for as M-700 with a beat up stock and shot out barrel.....hopefully you'll get one for about $300.....the last one I found was a bargain at $125....but finding them that badly abused is rare.....
