I believe it is called Target grey..you can get that finish on a standard ruger by bead blasting it with an aluminum oxide beads. COmpany in Wyoming by the name of Cheyenne Blue I believe does this. YOu can buy a Leupold scope with the Gun metal blue finish and it may be close. Another option is to get the gun cerrakoted by fit4duty ..they have some beautiful shades that could match up with pretty much any scope/ring combo.

I have a 25-06 hunting rifle with the Target grey barrel & grey laminated stock. I have no Idea what the finish is, but I like the looks of it. I never have looked for a scope to match it? I just topped it with a matte black scope & called it good.

It is stainless steel bead blasted to give it that grey look. Nikon
titanium matches almost perfect.I have a m77 mkll in a .220 swift and I wouldnt trade it for nothing in the gun world. It not only the rifle I love that swift.
