Best Revolver

I am looking to buy a Revolver for home defenseand plan on getting a concealed carry permit in the real near future. What is the best revolver made currentlyin terms of reliability, accuracy, concealability etc. ? I think the 357 will do the trick as far as calibers go and I am pretty set on that. Thanks

I would say Ruger or "OLD" Smith and Wesson. I am not a fan of the lock models. My personal carry gun is a 1969 Smith M38 "bodyguard". It isan airweight but is very accurate and easy to hold. I have looked at the small Rugers with envy, but I have the M38 and a M637 so have stayed away so far. You really can't go wrong either way.

They don't jam and they are more concealable.. The magazine doesn't take a set and cause a jam. They reload faster unless you have a spare for the semi-auto

Colt Python if you can afford it. They don't make them anymore but you can find them used for about 650-100 bucks. It is considered by many experts to be the best .357 revolver ever made.
I love the Smith and Wesson model 19 as well. You should be able to find one used for 300 bucks or less.
As for new revolvers, the ruger GP amd SP series seems to be alot of gun for a cheap price. Don't over look taurus revolvers too.
You are a smart man choosing a revolver for defense!
