I have a Remmington Woodsmaster 742 in 30-06 I just put a new scope on it so I was out sighting it in. I got off 8 rounds and then it quit working at first I had no trigger pull then I tried to work the action and it was very hard to operate. I had to operate it a coule of times and then I got the trigger pull again but the round would not go off and the primer wasen't hit. I tried different shells but the gun woulden't go off. Any ideas whats wrong. Mike

Sounds like the gas assembly is gunked up and that something is wrong with the trigger assembly. Contact Remington on their 800 number.
