What if he knew his limit and would not take a shot past it. I admit I'm not an awesome shot, so I would never even attempt to shoot a deer at 200 yards. Like I said, where I hunt, 50 yards of visibility is rare.

I am happy with 1" at 100 yards.

Accurate enough to hit what I am shooting at. That might be 4" at 50 yards or 1/2" at 100. I commend those who practice offhand as well as on a bench.
