Is it just me or does anyone else thing Sako's have gone up in price lately??
I was looking for a 300RUM in synthetic and shouldhave picked them up at 800 on gunsamerica when I had a chance. Now I am looking for a 300WSM or win mag in synthetic stainless and they are well over 1100.
I won't pay that.
Same with browning golds shotguns. I have three, and paid 600 for the deer hunter stalker, and 580 for the hunter gold. Now, you can't touch em for that.

Most companies that had an increase, looked like they were adjusting prices based on their employees COLA raises. But some have gone waaaay more than that. I will either buy a Tikka, CZ, or Brownie.

Well How many guns did Winchester sell each year? I would guess it was enough to effect supply. Prices will go up on all guns I think. I know that the SPS Remingtons where I live, have gone up about 50 bucks this spring.

Gun prices have slowly been going up across the board the past few years (inflation or lawsuits maybe?), but the jump in Sako prices you noticed might just be a prime example of supply and demand.
