I just acquired a new rifle and scope from a guy who was hard up for cash. And I was wanting to know if anyone knew it's value. It is a Krico 640S Super Sniper, chambered in 308. It has a walnut stock that has butt plate adjustment for height and rake, and comb that can be elevated. It has an enlarged bolt handle, and is matte finish with a muzzle break. It also has a single set trigger. It is wearing a Swarovski 6X42 scope with the 4a reticle. I would rate this rifle and scope in 98% condition. I am guessing the scope is worth $900-$950? As for the rifle, I have no clue. Thanks for any info.

According to my 24th edition of "Blue Book of Gun Values", that seems to be the Model 640 Deluxe/Super Sniper. Importation was discontinued in 1988. This issue places the value at $1,175 at 98%.
Last MSR was $1,725. This model was known as the 650 Sniper/Match until 1986.

Thanks for the info, it is greatly appreciated. I gave $1200 for the gun/scope, and was certain I didn't do to bad. Like I said, I figured the scope was probably in the $900 neighborhood, and this rifle just lookd pricey. I'm not gonna keep it though, just don't have much use for it. And I wanted a dollar amount so I knew where to be when I sold it. Thanks again.
