Im in the market to buy my first shotgun and was looking for a good all around shotgun for mostly turkey and waterfowl, but that might be suitable for some upland hunting if possible, and preferably under around $600. Models that had been suggested included the Remington 870 and the Stoeger P350. Any thoughts on those 2 guns or any other suggestions? Thanks a lot.

remington 870 super mag, we got 2. you can shoot 2 3/4" up to 3 1/2". so you can use the 2 3/4 for smaller birds and then use the bigger ones forturkeys or somethin. i love it, and a very reliable gun

The most versatile shotgun that I have ever owned was Remington 870 if I had my way I would have kept one forever. There a great gun for all hunting situations and with the options available with them I could hunt every game animal down here with one and always have just the right amount of power required.

remington 870 and browning bps...
bps has bottom eject and safety on the tang...it also has a back bored barrel to accomidate larger loads for your turkey and water foul....either of these two pumps are really good.

Me I like the Mossberg 835, but you need to get out to a store and look them all over, feel them in your hands and see if there isn't something you like or fits comfortably! [8D]
