I wonder why not much talk about the RugerSemi-auto's. The P91 is built like a tank. Some (2 people)I have talked to never exprienced a jam with this model and they like the .40S&W caliber.

Got a P89 - absolutely reliable gun. For the price I paid (compared to the Glocks, Sigs, etc) a very good value.

The Ruger auto's are probably the single most overlooked handgun especially in a .45 there is on the market.
If the Ruger fits your hand IMHO they are probably the best buy on the market. Tuff, dependable ,excellent sombat accuracy,no safeties worry about, a pretty darn good double action trigger anda great single triggeron the ones I own and all at a pricethat allows you to buy 2 or 3 as opposed to one in another maker's.I don't see a down side.

I have a P89 9mm and I have fired it a few thousand times since I bought it, only had it hiccup once. This was more or less bad ammunition (bought cheap reloaded stuff). The only downside to my gun is it won't hit the broadside of a barn. I've had 4 or 5 guys that are all great pistol shots shoot this thing, and the general consensus is, the intruder better be within punching range to hit with this gun.
