Myself and my son each purchased the SPS. He bought a 270 and myself the 7mm08. We free floated the barrels and set the triggers to 3 lbs. Both guns now shoot less tha a MOA. A lot of groups are have holes that are touching. A great little gun for the price, or should I say any price.

I bought a 700 SPS about 2 months ago in 270 WSM. I don't concider myself "recoil sensitive" but this puppy kicked like a mule, I guess mixing a short mag w/ a feather light synthetic stock is a no no. I shot it 10 times & that baby rattled my teeth. My friend at the gun shop swopped it even for another SPS in 7mm-08 & I'm totally in love w/ it. I had the stock camo dipped & topped it off with a Nikon Monarch 3-9X40. Shoots great too.

That stock looks GOOD! Nice gun. Them 7-08's are a sweet round.
