Why is it the minority feels it has the right to rule the majority?

Why is it all of a sudden that saying Happy Holidays is so bad? Afterall it is the holiday season and Happy Holidays is inclusive. Mind you I find nothing wrong with Merry Christmas, even though I am Pagan. Say whatever greeting you want but why put down someone else's?
