On your new rifle.

I have just about the same rifle.

Rem. 700 BDL SS
HS- black stock
Leupold 3.5X10X40 Vari-X III
Limb Saver recoil pad
KDF Muzzle Brake
Trigger set at a CRISP 1.5 pounds

I'll tell you it will flat shoot also for a heavy recoiling rifle. Of course it doesnt have all that much pop to it anymore!!:D

Gonna hopefully blast a couple whitetails first before I get back out to Colorado next year.

Kareimp, I don't reload for it or anything else yet but my next Christmas gift to myself is everything I need to reload.;):D Should be getting all of that stuff in the next week or two.
