It just looked cool. Haven't had a .22 for a couple of years since my other was stolen by some drug heads.

Those Marlin 60's are great guns. I used one for many years to take all kinds of small game. Should serve you very well. Good luck

I don't know how reliable the hood sight on the front is going to be. It seems to come off rather easily. I probably won't put a scope on it either, I like the open sights.

Never really a big clip fan, I like the tubes.

I think I lost my front hood within a week.LOL They just slide right off. A solution might be to use some epoxy or gorilla glue to permantly fix it to the gun.
