700 Remington Classic 25-06 Remington
I'd like to part with a 700 classic in my collection (to make room for a different gun of course). It's a 700 Classic in 25-06 Remington (manufactured 1990). Gun is in as new condition and i have the original remington box which can come with the rifle for shipping if desired... This gun has only had enough rounds put through it to sight in with a scope (now removed) and nothing more... factory remington core-lokts at about 10 total... there is no rust, no scratches, etc in the metal. wood has 2 extremely small spots on the stock where it has apparently bumped something from the time it was made til i received it. it is essentially as new as you'd pull off of the shelf at any gunshop.
I'd like to see $575 OBO. and you must ship to an FFL. If interested please contact me at jaroot (at) tdi.net
gun is located in South Central Michigan.
I'll give this a week or so and put her up for auction
Thanks
Jamie

Would you consider selling the rifle seperately?
If so shoot me a e-mail [email protected] maybe we can work something out.

Not that it is any of my business since I'm not in the market, but what does a new Remington BDL .25-06 cost at BassPro Shops? $575 doesn't sound likea real bargain for a 1990 used rifle. If I WERE in the market, I would be happy to pay an extra $50 to buy the new rifle rather than take chances with a 15 year old rifle.
Is this rifle a BDL or an ADL or what specific Remington 700 model is it?

RE: 700 Remington Classic 25-06 Remington
new 700 classics are about 630 dollars... this is a Classic.... one caliber for one year and a new caliber the next. So you have to look at from a collectors standpoint... plus the fact is, it is essentially a new rifle as far as use and condition... it was NIB when i bought it and i have never taken it afield... i said lets start negotiating at 575 i didn't say that was my bottom line... .
