Default About the "Hot Babe" post

I read through the post and noticed that a vast majority of people who visit this forum are quite upset that the pic was posted. This is understandable as this simply isn't the place for that sort of thing.

However, I have to point out that it is ironic that in spite of the negative reaction the post caused, it has remained toward the top of this room for quite some time.

If you are really opposed to the thread, it might be prudent to stop posting new messages on it and allow it to sink into oblivion. This is one of the few cases in which ignoring the problem will make it go away.

"... a vast majority of the people who visit this forum are quite upset that the pic was posted. ..."

I don't think you can call the couple dozen posts a "vast majority". I mean really, there are realistically THOUSANDS of people who have seen/read that post and for whatever reason (pro or con) they didn't deem a post necessary. Only the most vocal and against such material seemed to be the ones making all the racket.

Unless I am just totally wrong (wouldn't be the first time) I think the biggest burr under everyone's saddle wasn't the pic itself as much as it was the fact that the pic contained the addy too a porno site. I don't care one way or the other (I agree that the gal looks like a skinny lil crackho who needs a few plates of mommas biscuits and molasses) but I can certainly understand where posting porno addys on a family website like this one can cause problems too some.

Personally I don't see what would be wrong with having an "adults only" section on this website. Mods would have to grant access too those willing and old enough and that would probably cut all this hoopla out to begin with.

Just my .01/2c,
RA

Out of almost 1700 views less than 40 people posted and not all of them were against the picture being posted. Therefore the peoplestating theirobjectionswere far from the majority.I don't have a problem with the picture itself, but the porn site address should not have been visible.

I didn't look at the post because of the title. I figured it was either something that I didn't want to see or someone wanting attention. When I saw this posting I figured I better see what the buzz was about. Personally, I object to the posting and to the add for the porn site. This isn't the place for that. If this site were to add and adults only section, I'm afraid, that for me, it would end my relatioship with this site. I would be dissappointed. I've enjoyed this site greatly; the information, and the freedom from non-hunting related garbage.

Your kidding us right? You have to be smarter than this to figure out why so many hits? Are you? Has simply posting "dont" look at it ever work before for ya? People like contraversy and probably wanted to see if somebody was badmouthing them after they posted. Why are you wanting see it?

I guess what I am asking is whats your point other than baiting?

Look, all I'm saying is that if a person didn't like the post, why perpetuate it by posting on it? That's really my only point. I'm done now.

I would leave to if there was a ADULT ONLY section this is huntingnet.com. Not huntingandpornnet.com. I think people are kinda upset no mods or admins havnt stepped in and said something.

There are plenty of "adult sites" without adding any links here.
