44 mag bullet choice?
I have 240 Hornady XTP, or 270 gold dot soft points? Both shoot extremelywell in my gun, Ruger SBH. I will be deer hunting, inwooded terrain, shots maybe out to 75 yds at best, but 99% most likely under 40 yds. It probably doesn't matter which bullet huh?

Any deer hit properly at those distances with either one won't know the difference, neither will you...

At 40 to 50yds, I'm sure you're going to hit it! I prefer to use a Hunting bullet than a Self-Defense bullet. There's a difference! |
