Saw a place that had them on sale for 149.00 Thats all I can afford now. Anyone know anything about these scopes ? I was going to put one on a .270 pump. and by the way how should I sight in this .270 to make a decent hit to 300 yds using factory Ammo. ? Thanks, Crock

Basically same as the Bushnell Elite 3200 series now. Bausch & lomb is the old name, since they are all under bushnell now. I know of 6 people who own this scope now and like them. They come with a lifetime Gaurantee. I would say you'll be pleased and maybe even suprised at the 3000.

I have my 270 with 130 Ballistic Tips sighted in at 2 1/4 high at 100 and around 4 1/4" low at 300. But your best to pick a bullet style and see how it shoots, then shoot it at 100, 200 and 300 to get a feel. Don't go by what the box says, they tend to bit a little inaccurate due to testing in a ballistic lab, etc with the enviromental & gun conditions have no bearing. However it will help in giving you a starting point.

I have a B&L 3000 on a 300 win mag. It performs great, its clear and for the money is hard to beat. You'll be happy with this scope.

Take a look at www.samplelist.com Bouch & Lomb and Bushnell have been the same company for a long time. They changed the name over because few people knew the B&L name in relation to riffle scopes. You should probably look at the Bushnell elite 3200. I have a B&L 4000 and love it. The new lines with rainguard are the numbered 3200 and 4200. Right now there is even a special that gets you a free Rain Parka with purchase.
