So what exactally do you guys not like about the leupold base and rings???
Quality control is lacking when compared to other manufacturers rings and bases.

I have leupold bases and rings on every rifle that I own as does everyone that I hunt with. Not one of us has had any problems at all.

I 50 years and a hundred or so rifles of all calibers, I have yet to have a Weaver ring of base fail in any way shape or form. Install them right and they will hold up forever. They are simple, inexpensive and tough as hell. I have used most all of them at one time but now its just Weaver. I do like the Millet windage adjustable rings. I have had them on some big hard kicking guns. They are the Weaver style.

I have used the Weavers, Burris and Loopie Dual Dovetails. I have had very good service outof the Weavers at all. They are simple and cheap and do NOT give you any trouble.I like the loopies pretty well also. I will probably throw the Burris ones away first chance i get. I have got rid of everything else with that name on it so they are next.
