Is my scope mounted wrong?

I Purchased a T/C Omega and there was a Nikon 3-9 x 40 prostaff scope mounted on it already. This scope was probably bore sighted at the gun smith. When I was going through the Instruction manual I noticed all the pictures show the scope with the adjustment nobs on the top and left side of the scope. My scope is mounted with the adjustment nobs on top and right side. When I took the nob covers off, the top has a U and D and the side nob has a R and L. This leads me to believe the scope is a quarter turn wrong. If this dosen't matter I'm fine with the way it is mounted. Can anyone give me a reason on why I would want to change the scope? If so do I need to put a level on the scope or should I take it somewhere to be done. I'm planning on sighting in this gun today or tomorrow. Thanks for all your help.

Your scope is mounted correctly. I don't recall any manufacturer with the windage knobs positioned on the left side.
