The .264 Win and .257 Weby are about as flat shooting as you can get in deer rounds.With their reasonable recoil you can tolerate practicing with them enough to take advantage of all that reach as well.

I haven't looked through all of the responses, but this ballistics calculator is really a great way to compare the various calibers and ammunition.

When someone says long range and deer I always seem to think 264 Mag or 25-06!
