Rem 700 CDL or Savage 111g?
I am looking into buying a .270 cal, either a Savage 111g for $415 or a Rem 700 CDL for $565. I am willing to pay the extra $150 if the Remington is worth it. If not, I will go with the Savage. Just checking around for inputs.

I have the CDL in 30-06 and I love it, but I don't know if it is worth the extra dollars over the Savage.

You want the best accuracy for your money, or do you want a name from a company whose quality control has been on a downhill slide over the past few years?

I have had a lot of guns over the years, Winchesters, Remingtons, Savages.........
After all this time, I have killed more deer with the savages. I still have the others, but It isn't the fit and finish that gets the job done, OR the resale value. |
