I recently heard the first report, from a reliable source, on the performance of the 325 WSM on game. It was a good one. The 200 grain Nosler Accubond performed very well on a bull elk. Broke a shoulder, penetrated the chest at an angle, bullet wound up in the last rib all mushroomed out. Close range shot. Good wound channel without much bullet fragmentation. This round may have a future here . . . .

Well that's great to hear. I am personally leaning toward the Model 70. Nothing against the Browning, but with a baby on the way, the money I can save would be nice.

Terry I know what you are saying about deer season!! It can't get soon enough for me either.

You know, for the money a Tikka is probably the best buy on the market right now. They probably don't chamber the .325 yet though but you can get it in .300 which is no slouch.
