RE: Burris or Leupold

I talked to the guy at Burris sounded like a smart ASS to me,but he did explain that the dials on the windage and height was the same ,I just didn't see the slash when at the range and still had a hard time seeing it at home.He told me I could take a file and file off the UP on the side adjustment,Can you figure on a high price scope that they are too cheap to put differnt dials on top and the side?

I like the Leupolds better too I don't like the fact that the whole eye piece turns when adjusting the power level. It makes it hard to use any type of lens covers. I bought a Burris last year and only had it 2 or 3 months before selling it.

Now take the Burris and twist the power all the way up and look at the edges of the scope. That's distortion.

Id say if you set on a burris or a leupold go with the leupold. but if not set in your track with them you may consider a tasco. i have a 700 in 270 with a nice tasco on it and i have tried leupold scopes but my tasco is my favorite.
