It is just as likely that it could actually hurt the accuracy of your gun because it affects thevibration of the barrel.

I completely agree with you Stumble, not to mention the fact that the more variables you introduce to the harmonics of the gun, the more difficult it becomes to repeat them. In the end the results are usually more erratic accuracy.

I had them do my 300RUM in stainless and they did a beautiful job. They brake is VERY effective and the quality in workmanship can't be beat. When the brake is on, you can't even see the seam line. Plus, it also comes with the thread protector that you can use while hunting if you want. Best I could find when I was looking.

Normally adding a weight to the end of a barrel will help dampen the harmonics and make it more forgiving. It will require you to work up a different load though because of the change.

There is always the chance it will make it worse, but that usually is not the case from what I understand. You just need to find out what it likes again.

I agree with the others though, I wouldn't to it. I don't mind them on shotguns and handguns to reduce muzzle flip, but they are loud. I have heard two high powered rifles with them and it actually hurt to hear them fired the noise was so sharp.

My shotgun was louder than normal, but nothing like that.
