Ive heard complaints of them copper fouling barrels, and not being as accurate, when the 300UM first came out. I've yet to find any to shoot thru my gun to verify that though.

Is their jacket softer copper or am I missing something?

I just picked up a box of them 2 nights ago and need to load/shoot/hunt with them. I'm going to use them this hunting season if I can get them together by next Friday (deer opener here).

I'll let you know how they work if I'm lucky enough to get a shot.

Preliminary (shooting over hood of truck at stepped off distance) indicate they don't shoot any different than BT or Part. through my gun. Heading to range tomorrow night.

For deer I would use whichever shoots best in your gun. With animals this size there won't be any problem with any of them.
