m14 although I never carried one in a hostile zone. It had some problems but not anything like the mattel toy has. I would like to see something like it scaled down a skosh in the SPS round. Dream on , Biscuit.

I, for one, would have no problem going to combat with an M16A2. It's a fine rifle that gets the job done. Relatively light weight, not too big, light ammo (therefore lots of it), very accurate even at high rates of fire (thanks in no small part to the low recoil). Itis also a very reliable rifle even in field conditions if you take care of it properly, which isn't hardifyou have at least two firing neurons under your brain bucket.Iwas issued a total of four different A2's whileI can in theCorps ranging in condition from almost new to beat tohell, and all functioned perfectly no matter howmuch abuse I put them through (unlessI was shooting those God-forsaken blanks[:@]).

The Diemaco C7A1 (what else..I AM CANADIAN )...followed by the M16A2, HK G36 ,M14 and even the AKM's (love 'em or hate 'em they aren't pretty but will work through just about anything)

For what it is the AK is probably the best battle rifle design ever. The M16 makes a great door stop. I also believe using a non-expanding varmint cartridge to attempt to kill humans is not the best course of action.

the M4 is great because of its adjustability and light wieght. the M14 because of its firepower, fast cycle rate and accuracy. mcmillan 50 BMG cause well its the gun used in the longest kill shot.

I carried the M-16 for a while and never had any problems with it jamming. With that said and having experience with the M-16, M-14, AK-47/AKMand M-1D, if my life was depending on it I would choose the M-14. The AK may be simple to maintain, but I was never impressed with it's accuracy.
If I had my choice of any weapon, I would take the M-60E3, even though it isn't a production infantry weapon/rifle.
