would like to know where i can find an ithica model 37 slug barrel a friend has cancer and would like to find one to go hunting deer with any info you can give might make him a happy hunter this year. thank you for all the help u can give me (irish)

Irish sorry to hear of your friends bout with cancer.I would suggest watching different hunting forums Classified ads.One's bound to pop up.You can check Cabela's &BassPro. They sell Ithaca barrels.You might watch gun auctions and gunsamerica.It shouldn't be hard to find the barrel you're looking for. Good luck in your search.

Try this link. AlsoIthaca was making fully rifled slug barrel with the cantilever scope mount, but being that Ithaca went out of business a few weeks ago you might not find one of these!

The Hastings with the cantilever scope mount would be a much more accurate combination. Ithaca barrels have a habit of fitting somewhat losely. In that case you will lose your point of impact whenever the barrel is knocked. With the Hastings and the cantilever mount being an integral part of the barrel that will never be an issue.
