RE: Hastings Slug Barrels?
Mostly, after some of the craziness I have seen you write when you first joined this forum. I generally try to steer clear of anything you write.
Actually I did post something relavant. I explained I am not a huge hastings fan, with of course some tag along right after me, posting something to the contrary. It gets so old after a whiel. |
RE: Hastings Slug Barrels?
Well there you go Bigcountry, I applaud you for that......youfinally admitted you hold some strange grudge against me because you didn't agree with a post I made months ago.Well I'm sorry for that.
Now that everything is out in the open, lets both get back to enjoying this forum for what it is. |
RE: Hastings Slug Barrels?
If you look that the price of an aftermarket barrel from Remington, you couldput just an extra $100 or so out and get the 12 ga. Express Synthetic Monte Carlo with the 23 in. "Super Slug" barrel. It's a lot easier to get 12 ga. rifled slugs. Or does the 12 weigh and/or kick too much?

RE: Hastings Slug Barrels?
Thanks to all the replies guys. djgj200, no I have no proble shooting a 12, but I love my little 20 for deer hunting, plus I do not wanna pay a 100 bucks more anyway. 20 gauge slugs of all kinds are a sinch to find in my area. Hopefully for next fall I will have a slug barrel, but for this year I will used rifled slugs again. Thanks again, take care, Spencer.
