Anyone have any info on this gun? I just purchased one for what I think is a great price ($240 which included a Bushnell Banner scope).. it's used.. but doesn't look like it at all. Definately wasn't shot much. It's really beautiful gun.. the pics don't do it justice. But then again laminated stocks give me a woody.
Just wondered what you guys thought about it. It will mainly be used for plinking and occasional squirrel hunting.. I know it's a bit heavy.. but it should shoot well.

Ruger is pretty much the standard by which .22 semi-autos are judged.Even the basic models are very accurate and reliable. You will find very few people who are not happy with them.

Bought one the first shipped blued ones yrs back. Been very happy with it. Try some diff. ammo as they can be finiky. Oh, yeah, those 10/22's can become addicting fast. Starting #6 very soon myself and already have #7 bing planned.

so i went into gander mountain yesturday after i got done shooting, and just out of curiosity i went over to the used section to see if they had any 10/22's. well the had one for $144.99. the stock was all worn out, and the reciever had scratches all over it. i picked up mine for $129.99 from the same store a week before. mine looked brand new and it came with a scope! man i love when i find deals.
edit- i forgot to add the guy gave me a free 1 year warenty that equals $20.

My father gave me10-22 for Christmas when I was fourteen (about seventeen years ago). Over the years I have replaced thefactory stock with a custom finish-it-yourself laminate, replaced the barrel, and had a trigger job,but the reciever is original. Probably had 25,000 plus rounds fired through it, still works great!
