I just skimed the story but it sounds to me they are talking target accu. not hunting and a 1" group @ 300 yds = .333@ 100 yds. not quite your every day hunting rifle or hunting load !!

kinda of funny this thread comes up when just a few days ago i was saying that i wasnt to happy with the accuracy of the .270's I use to own. My friends new .270 was the same, he sold it. Dunno, but thats what i observed, could have been just the guns.
