I heard the same sort of thing concerning Remington's V-max, 33gr. ammo for the 22mag. rimfire. I don't really care. It shoots so good in my Ruger 77/22 target rifle, and the crows really don't like it :D

I wonder too?? more then likely though it would be lot to lot. For my 17 hmr I bought a case of the cci game points so when those are all used ill will see if the my accuracy changes when I get another case which will more then likely be from a different lot then what i have now.
