Default Anschutz Rifles

Just bought a new .22.It is a Anschutz Model 1451 D KL.I was wondering if anybody knows if I can put the super good match trigger ,and ,or Their Match peep sights.on this model.I went and shot it today with pretty good results after my break in ritual. But you know how us nuts are always want to do something else to it.(I know if it ain't broke don't fix it) but I still want to play with it.
Thanks ........Swampdog

I've got an old Anschutz 54 sporter that I dearly love. It's shot thousands upon thousands of rounds and still drives nails. Where in Danville did you find an Anschutz or did you have someone order it for you?

I have an Anschutz that I shoot in a winter league 4 position competition. I bought it used a few years ago. It has a Unertl 20x scope on it. It will still drive tacks, correction kill flies at 50 ft indoors(thats the regulation length of course)I don't know if peeps can be added, but I'm almost positive they could be. Anschutz builds fine rifles and don't leave out much for options.

diyj98,I have a friend that owns a gun shop here in Danville. He had 2 of these rifles.I think this is the cheapest Anschutz that they make.It is grooved for a scope.and has fold down rear sight,1 stage trigger. It comes with a 5 shot clip but you can get a 10 shot for it.It still cost about $400.00 I had the choice between it and one of the T/C "Classis .22s.I have not shot the T/C But I don't think it will ever be in the same league with this one ( and I have not even got it broken in yet) I was shooting 1/2 and 3/4 groups at 25 yds.The front sight was bigger than the target.LOL Any time you want to come down to his shop shoot me an E -Mail and I will give you directions or I will go over there with you .The only day he is not open is Sundays.

I've had a Model 54 since the 70s and it's still a tack driver. I have a Redfield scope on it and it makes a great squirrel rifle.

Swampdog, I believe your gun is based on the 64 action. I would guess that the Anschutz peep sights would slide on the dovetail and work fine. I'll shoot you an email oneday and we'll check that shop out.
