458 Lott from a Winchester M70 shooting full power 500 grain solids. That one really reached back and "touched" you! It was not to bad to shoot off hand acurately, but I am glad that I did not have to sight that one in! The rif;e belongs to a friend of mine. Ny biggest rifle is a Browning bolt action 375HH. The 375 is a cream puff compared to the Lott.

jones, I believe you meant M16 (5.56mm) rather than M1. If I recall correctly, the M1 is a .30/'06, yes??
