I agree with Roskoe and BC, I would use a scope if shooting out to 100 or 125yds with a rifled barrel.

On the back of most shotgun slug boxes it has a chart on it with the distances and drop of the slug. It will drop 1 ft. at 100 yds. Most shots with shotguns are made up to 75 yds with accuracy. vangunsmith
