Single shot 12 gauge.

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of getting a single shot 12 gauge. Does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable single shot? or maibe some that I should avoid?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm the H&R looks very nice.
Has anyone peeked at the Rossi single shot?

NEF. Easy and cheap to add more shotgun barrels. Better yet start with a NEF rifle then you can get Shotgun or rifle barrels for it.

I must admit the NEF looks really great... I hope gandermountain holds'em in inventory so I could actually feel one before I buy...
Not many sporting goods stores keep single shots in inventory [X(]

I'm also considering the Rossi because I have a muzzleloader by them that I got as a gift and I really like it...

too many options :D

Gander Mountain up here in Fargo handles them. They have a pretty good selection most of the time. I have purchased a couple there. The rifles will accept most rifle barrels and all shotgun barrels except 12 Ga. The shotgun recievers will only accept muzzle loader and other shotgun barrels. Buy a rifle and I think the shotgun barrels are about 55-60 dollars. You do have to send the reciever in to have the barrels fit as they won't sell just the barrels. Good Luck.
