Well, I got my Elite 4200 2.5-10X40. Works great so far. But for a top dollar scope, couldn't they put some nice metal power adjust rings and focus screws. that plastic may work fine on a 3200 for a very nice price of 200 dollars but for 400 dollar 4200, they could do better.

But hey, I got it it for 300 dollars and am happy. If I paid the cabelas price I would have been a tad disappointed.

BC ..still one of the best scopes made in the recoil handling department not to mention optics. Zeiss makes their Conquest with plastic adjustment covers as well and plenty complain about that "feature" as well.

I agree about the plastic covers but it's the best scope I've used for the money. I've run the scope gamut from Swarovski and Schmidt Bender to Zeiss(european) and Conquest, and the Bushnell's the brightest, toughest low-light scope I've ever owned. I own the 2.5-10x50 Illuminated dot model and when OEH found some at a really good price, I bought another one. Great Scope!

Oh come now BC...you not being married and all should be able to buy one of their most expensive models every week of the year I accumulated more guns and scopes before I was married then after I can tell you that. I'll bet I cut the rate of hardware aquisition by 5 % now that is sheer numbers of guns and scopes . The actual dollars may be just a tad higher

to be honest old, if it runs over 600 I just don't look at it. Maybe its a mental number and I block out everything after that. I couldn't tell you how much a Swarovski is. I just know its more than 600.

Your right, I am spending money like water these days. But trying to put away some for a new Hog. I don't finance.

I love my 4200 in 1.5-6x36, it is a few years old but I think the caps and rings are metal. Great scope very clear, bright and the rain guard is awsome.

Well if you bought a real motorcycle you would have more free time and money to buy more guns, work up more handloads.
