I was looking at a PMC catolog the other night at home and was glancing through the rimfire section and here they had a 17 PMC round.What are they tring to break into the 17 Rimfire catagory now,it only had a published FPS of 1800,nothing near the the 17 HMR or the Mach2.
Has anyone else heard of this.

I dont know, but that seems a little week compared to the 17 hmr.

i bielve it is a round that can be chambered in the 17 Aquila.

you are correct the 17 PMC is the same as the 17 aguila. A few months back I read a review done by Aguila where they were shooting 17 aguila through a 17 mach 2 chamber and were having great results.

Theres no sense in having a smaller caliber like that when you could go buy a .22 LR and get the exact same results because there are plenty of .22 LR loads out there that are pushin 200ft lbs.

My .17 Mach 2 is gettin about 170ft lbs with a 17gr V-Max goin 2122fps.
