Default Vector bass boat?

Anybody know anything about Vector bass boats. A local guy has one about 17' with a 115 evinrude. I would say it's a 1980's vintage but has been garage kept and is in good shape. It has 580 hours on the motor, is that alot? It's got all the bells and whistles, flashers, trolling motor, bilge pumps, aerated livewell, temp surface gauge, transom saver, spare tire and I can get it for around $2000. Anybody got any opinions?

on the motor have a mechanic do a compression check, on the boat my biggest concern would be the transom, if the transom is rotten you don't want it, seconly would be the stringers. have the boat checked out it could be worth the price but you don't want to buy something thats unsafe/unreliable

best of luck
