I fish them both. I've caught my two biggest bass on carolina, both in the 10 pound range.

they both have there place, the things i like about the c-rig is you can cover alot of water quickly and you can learn alot about the bottom composition, but its hard to flip a c-rig

A Florida Rig is when they hook it so the worm spins. Kinda off-set. Its easy to fish because all you need to do is reel slowly.

C-Rigs are great for covering lots of non snaggy bottoms fast to learn compositions. they also position the baits in a good manner, they're up off the bottom. Never use flourocarbon because it sinks. I prefer a texas rig most of the time. peg them with bobbers stops because toothpicks hurt your line and other stuff doesnt let the sinker move up on hookset whihc makes it easier for the fish to throw the hook. The flordia rig is basically a bullet sinker with a corkscrew built into the bottom and you screw it into the worm, so you dont have to peg it. i dont think it imparts any spin on the worm at all.
