Anyone getting excited for ice fishing?
It's been a little warm lately but now the temps are finally dropping to the freezing point. Anyone dusting off their ice fishing gear? Any new equipment for this season?

Can't wait also. Afraid it will be awhile before ice in my area as I live south of you. About 20 miles south of your states southern border and about 525 miles further east. Also those great lakes moderate our weather. Usually into january before safe ice. Normally head north about 200 miles for a few days once or twice a year then fish closer to home if ice permits.
Best Wishes
Ps: No nights below freezing here yet but getting close.

I love to fish for white fish in gull lakae, last year i went a little late in the season and the fish were sppoky but this year im going to be there for the opening of the season. Gull lake uslay has a realy good white fishing in the winter, pike isnt too bad I know a few guys that have pulled 15pound pike outta the ice here too. last year i saw a massive burbott but he didnt bite. I gunning for him this year.
