Livewells???

Default Livewells???

Hey everyone, i was just wondering if anyone knows how to make a livewell for a boat and is it hard to make one? thanx alot

Wouldn't it be an aluminium box with an intake and output for fresh water and an areator, to keep them alive. If your catching smaller fish try a cooler with an areator pump, more portable that way. shouldn't be to hard if you keep it simple.

or you could use that as an excuse to buy A NEW BASS BOAT!!!!!"honey i need a new live well the fish keep dieing heck... lets just get a new boat!"

I have a marine cooler that is 48" by 24" and 30" deep. I have a 12volt aerator and use an old bilge pump to empty it running a hose over the side of the boat. I usually fill the cooler with a bucket at the landing and am working on rigging up a pump so I don't have to bust my butt filling it.
