Hey guys, I have a tourny this weekend on the Susqhuehenna. I know its high, muddy, and probably going to get worse, so what would you suggest, other than a 16 oz jig and 3" tube?
Thanks.

Hey I don't know your lake, but if you're fishing a tourney, especially given a muddy water situation I'd recommend something a little faster moving like a shad rap or bigcraw or anything really. Have the jig and tube ready on another rod once you locate active fish...
Just a thought.

ahhh terrible timing....i couldnt imagine fishing now....the ohio and beaver rivers are still high muddy and swift.....GIANT trees cruising down the river....i dont think its a place for a boat......and theres more rain on the way.....all i can say is GOOD luck.....hope you win.....probably wont take much to win in conditions like this....id try something that gives off good vibration and maybe a little noise......fishing wont be easy.....that tourney will seperate the men from the boys id have to say......good luck.....fish hard....you may have fish all around they just dont know your bait is there because of the conditions.....i didnt get any river fishing in this summer..think i went catfishing once or twice....for an hour or 2 each time...its nice for a few days but it rains so often that when its nice the conditions are crap.....terible summer for fishing.......good luck! let us know how you do!
