RE: Sick Sight

So if catfish are considered rough fish why are they considered a GAME fish in most states. Catfish of that size are most often females and there the ones that will keep that fishery gone strong. I for one can't stand any waste of fish. I do the CPR for fishing Catch, Photo and Release all that your not going to eat.

there is a big difference between keeping legal size fish to eat and keeping illegal fish, whether they are being eaten or not. same goes for keeping fish and wasting them.

I generally catch and release but will occasionally keep a few to eat. When i take my kids they have the option to keep one trout each if they want to. If they decide to keep one we take it straight home and cook it for supper that night.

i Believe that it is alright to keepa few fish here and there...if they are legal. I dont agree with just mindless killing of fish, just to kill. DeerSlayer...i am pretty sure taht if someone killed a deer and just left it there you would be pretty mad.
