RE: Wipers

I have found that wipers love small plugs. A light weight spinning outfit and a smaller crankbait such as a Cotton Cordell Big O should work really well. I have noticed that the more minnow-like the lure is, the better. Stick with silver/shad colorations. Also the mini spinnerbaits work decent too. Of course, live bait, such as minnows and nightcrawlers will work. I would say in faster moving water, try the live bait on the bottom. Still standing water (lake/pond) try em under a bobber.
