While I love to fish for catfish, I have to say that nothing can compair to the way a steelhead fights, then Salmon then catfish. I just dont see the big thrill with bass, yet thats what ALL the fishing shows seem to be centered on

My favorite fish to catch are walleye, catfish and muskie for they'll fight really hard sometime harder then bass.

Well since i started this i will say in Freshwater that i like to catch steelhead and smallmoth the best, the are both powerful, acrobatic and beautiful fish to catch. I like anything that will pull my line, although saltwater fish, pound for pound, will beat the SH*t out of any freshwater fish i have ever caught. My fav saltwater fish to catch would have to be permit, grouper and barracuda. I still have a lot of species to catch, so give me another year and my opinion could change!!!

I love inshore saltwater fishing. I call it pot fishing because I just bring tackle for everything and catch whatever I can. I might end up starting to fish for spade fish and switch to trout, or from flounder to spot tail.

I love to fish for just about anything on a fly rod, and stripers are hard to beat overall.

Esox Lucius (Nothern Pike) and Esox Masquinongy (Muskellunge) you can't beat those big old 40-50 inch toothy critters and they put up some of the greatest fights in freshwater. There's just somthing about seeing a 20-30 pound fish launch it's self upwards of 6 feet out of the water twisting, spinning and flipping in mad frenzy trying to throw the hooks. It's amazing even the little ones under 40 inches can fit like like a rabid bulldog on speed. I love em to death!!
