Default cheap trout setup......

im looking for a good cheap trout setup this year.....i was thinking about a pfluger trion combo...with the trion real and im6 rod..its in cabelas for 60 bucks i think....i was thinking of a 5ft ul rod.....something i can actually use on the streams around here where any rod of legnth is useless unless yo just flip your bait out...but when you have a long rod but need a long cast it gets hard because of trees ect so i think a little short rod will be nice...my casts arent really far or anything...30-50ft max...so i dont need alot of power or anything at all....anyone use the trion combo? i broke countless light spinning reels....you know...bluegill fishing and a big bass hit my jig and i horsed him a little more then the reel could handle..and stripped it all.....will the trion be better at handling things like that? its got 7 bearings...just wondering....i try not to do it anymore.....but if i hook a nice fish somehow i dont want my reel to break over it......thanx alot
