Default Fall Crappie bite is starting

The month of September normally is good for fall Crappie along some structure at the northern bridge leaving the island. I caught about 60 pounds of very large sunfish this morning then the wind shifted and the bite stopped so I figured I would try the bridge crappie bite. I only fished for about an hour but caught 12 keepers that ranged from 10 inches to 13.
